KMT is for youth ages 8-18yrs old. Our program is open to ALL families throughout the greater Orange area and local community who can commit to rehearsals and shows. 

Each family is a unique part of this ministry and KMT provides a role for every member. During our fall and spring shows, cast members need to be available for rehearsal times. Rehearsal time can span from 12-16 weeks. Parents will have the opportunity to choose and participate in parts of the production process. More info on this below. 

A non-refundable $50 audition fee is required. Production fees for each cast member are $450. This helps pay for our director, choreographer, musical director, t-shirts, licensing rights, sets, costume pieces and more! Incidental items such as makeup, shoes, leotards, and tights may also be required. 

Audition fees are waived for additional siblings. 

Parents are key to making KMT a successful ministry. Parent volunteers are involved at every level of KMT. This can include lay leadership, art design, backstage elements, and every other facet of production except for casting. Parents are required to volunteer and must be screened through St John’s prior to volunteering. 

Should a parent(s) be unable to volunteer in the above capacity, a fee for non-participation is required. The non-participation fee option is not available is this is your first show with KMT.
